"La Madre" A short film dedicated to my friends & family

It has been along time since I've posted here.  I'm going to attempt to become more proactive with this.

"La Madre" Winner of the Bronze Palm Award at Mexico International Film Festival 2012

La Madre from James Reeves on Vimeo.

'La Madre' which mean 'The Mother' is a short film about remembering who we are through objects that connect us. In this story a man is typing about that to his Mother. The voice over is in Spanish and the subtitles are in Italian. This film is a message to my family and friends from future to past. My Italian family, and many Spanish friends. I wanted to cater certain culture with this film and show that through a camera as a story telling device Cinema is an international language and all can understand the story in one degree or another regardless of origin. Fila Brazillia was kind enough to let me use their music. Please enjoy!
